Jon Cochrane is the Chief Financial Officer at Maxio, where he brings a rare combination of deep financial expertise and operator experience building the systems that modern B2B SaaS and AI businesses run on.

Jon began his career in public accounting and financial advisory at Ernst & Young before moving into controller and FP&A leadership roles at high-growth SaaS companies, gaining firsthand exposure to the operational friction finance teams face daily. He then transitioned into product and strategy, spending several years at Maxio building and scaling its payments infrastructure and partner ecosystem. That arc, from accounting to operator to executive, shapes how he thinks about finance: not as a reporting function, but as a driver of growth.

At Maxio, Jon has led initiatives delivering triple-digit year-over-year growth in payments and channel sales, while partnering directly with C-suite and board members on corporate strategy, pricing, and M&A. With AI woven into his own work, Jon has a clear perspective on how finance teams can use it to compress cycle times, sharpen forecasting, and reduce the manual work that has long defined back-office operations.

Jon holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from Penn State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
